Plant Accountant (Code: PA)
Reports to Assistant plant Controller, the candidate is responsible to:
• Supporting the Assistant Controller on month end close activity for timely issuance the monthly plant cost report.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals to book monthly plant costs.
• Reconcile various plant balance sheet accounts, such as inventory, fixed assets and advance payment
• Control plant fixed cost budget by reviewing the actual figures weekly.
• Support the Assistant Controller in preparing plant fixed cost budget and forecast
• Maintain monthly work papers, which include plant cost analysis, journal entries back-up, accruals and all reconciliations
• Receive and verify Local Supplier/Contractor invoices before submit to the head office
• Prepare accurate supporting documents as requested by auditor
General Requirements:
• Bachelor degree majoring n Accounting with 2-4 years experience.
• Solid analytical ability.
• Able to work independently and flexible, with strong interpersonal skill
• Able to work on tight schedule.
• High integrity and work ethic.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English
• Computer literacy / able to operate Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and Power Point).
